Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a platformer where you draw rainbow ropes on the Wii U GamePad's touchscreen to steer Kirby through levels made entirely of clay. Instead of direct control, you sketch paths that Kirby rolls along, tapping the screen to launch him into enemies with a spin attack. The game features transformation power-ups—Kirby becomes a rocket to fly through sections, a tank to smash obstacles, or dons a swim mask for underwater stages. A power meter depletes as you draw, and when it runs low, a clay bandage appears on Kirby's head until you collect stars to refill it. The entire aesthetic mimics stop-motion claymation, with characters and environments textured like sculpted clay. It's built around the GamePad's stylus, so expect to watch that screen more than your TV.
