Luigi's Mansion
Luigi wins a mansion in a contest, calls Mario to celebrate, then arrives to find his brother missing and the place crawling with ghosts. This 3D action-adventure has you vacuum up spirits room by room. You stun ghosts with your flashlight, then suck them into a modified vacuum cleaner provided by Professor E. Gadd, a ghost researcher who becomes your guide. Each room holds portrait ghosts with specific behaviors—some hide, some attack, some need tricks to expose their hearts before you can capture them. The mansion's layout opens gradually as you collect keys and solve light puzzles. It's built around a single haunted house rather than separate levels, with each area themed differently. The tone leans more playful than scary, though Luigi's nervous reactions sell the spooky atmosphere. Short runtime, maybe 5-6 hours, but replay value comes from hunting hidden Boos and cash to improve your rank.
