Arcade tennis with Mario characters, now featuring a story campaign. You play matches against the roster using standard shots plus special moves—charged power shots that break through defenses, zone shots you aim in slow-motion, and a last-resort time-freeze mechanic to reach impossible balls. Rallies mix positioning and shot selection: topspin, slice, lob, drop shot. Reading where your opponent commits determines your counter. The story mode runs Mario through challenge courts with missions and boss fights that bend the rules (one example: returning volleys while dodging obstacles). Standard versus modes let you play locally or online. Mechanics favor players who can time their swings and predict angles over button-mashing.
