Metal Slug 6

Metal Slug 6 is a run-and-gun shooter where you fight alongside former enemies—the Rebels and Martians—against a new threat. The core loop remains shooting through side-scrolling levels, but this entry adds a Weapon Stock System: you carry two gun power-ups simultaneously and swap between them or revert to your default pistol. Picking up a third weapon replaces whichever you used least recently. Scoring now uses a multiplier that scales by powers of two—kill enemies quickly to build a meter to Max, at which point foes drop coins for bonus points. The alliance setup flips the series' usual Rebel-Martian betrayal arc. Expect the franchise's signature pixel art mayhem and vehicle segments, now with deliberate weapon juggling mid-firefight.
