Myth II: Soulblighter is a tactical combat game where you command squads or single units against the Forces of Dark. You don't build bases or gather resources—just manage the troops you're given per mission. Positioning matters: terrain affects line of sight and movement, while friendly fire from your own archers or explosives can wipe your formation if you're careless. Missions demand specific approaches rather than brute force. You might need to defend a chokepoint, escort vulnerable units through hostile ground, or flank entrenched enemies. Units persist between some scenarios, so losing a veteran dwarf demolitions expert in one fight means going without them later. The campaign follows the Forces of Light trying to stop Soulblighter's armies. If you want squad-level tactics without the economy management, this strips combat down to pure positioning and timing.
