NHL 12

NHL 12 is an ice hockey sim where you control teams through matches using improved physics and goalie interactions. Goalies now respond to contact—players can collide with them, and scrums between goalies and skaters can break out. The physics engine handles puck movement and player collisions with more weight than prior entries. Be a Pro mode returns, letting you guide a single player's career. You can also play through the 2011 Winter Classic scenario. Gary Thorne and Bill Clement call the action throughout. Goalies feel less static here, reacting to traffic in the crease rather than standing untouchable. If you want arcade-style hockey with consequence to net-front battles, this leans that direction.
