Pokémon Silver Version

Turn-based creature collection RPG set in the Johto region. You catch, train, and battle with monsters called Pokémon, building a team of up to six from 100 new species added to the existing roster. The core loop: explore towns and routes, encounter wild Pokémon in tall grass, weaken them in battle, then capture using Poké Balls. Challenge eight Gym Leaders to earn badges, then face the Pokémon League's Elite Four. Battles use a rock-paper-scissors type system with 17 elemental matchups. After beating the main story, you can return to the Kanto region from the previous games for additional Gym battles and exploration. Includes a day-night cycle and a friendship system affecting certain evolutions.
