Turn-based monster-collection RPG where you catch, train, and battle creatures across the Hoenn region. You'll build a team from 135 new species, each with distinct types and abilities. The battle system introduces double battles—two-on-two fights that demand different tactics than solo matchups. Training now includes natures and abilities that affect stats and combat behavior. A story campaign pits you against a criminal organization while you challenge eight gym leaders and an elite quartet. Contests let you show off your team's appeal in non-combat events.
