Pokémon Sapphire Version

Turn-based monster-collecting RPG set in the Hoenn region. You catch, train, and battle creatures called Pokémon while working through an eight-gym campaign that's more narrative-driven than earlier entries. The roster adds 135 new species to find and evolve. Battles introduce double battles where you field two Pokémon at once, and the training system now tracks effort values that let you specialize your team's stat growth. You'll face off against Team Aqua, a criminal syndicate with environmental motives. Exploration includes diving underwater and navigating weather-affected routes. The loop: catch Pokémon in tall grass, build a six-member team, earn badges, challenge the Elite Four.
