Third-person tactical shooter built around long-range rifle work and stealth infiltration. You're Karl Fairburne, a US Ranger sniper in 1944 France, uncovering a Nazi weapons program called Operation Kraken while the Allies prepare their invasion. Missions drop you into detailed recreations of French coastal towns and fortifications—you'll scout routes, tag patrols, set up shots, and extract. The series' x-ray kill cam returns, showing bullet trajectories and internal damage in slow motion. Traversal lets you scale more surfaces than earlier entries: drain pipes, ledges, window frames. You can tackle objectives loud or quiet, though sniping from concealment is the intended path. Co-op supports the campaign with a friend, and there's an Invasion mode where another player can join your mission as an enemy sniper hunting you. Fits players who like methodical planning over run-and-gun.
