Platform-adventure where Sonic and crew hunt down Lyric, an ancient snake villain plotting to deploy a robot army. Each character has distinct abilities—you'll swap between them to solve environmental puzzles and reach new areas. Combat centers on the Enerbeam, an energy tether used to swing across gaps, yank weapons from enemies, and reveal hidden paths. Levels mix platforming with brawler-style fights that demand you juggle offense and the tether's utility functions. Speed sections punctuate exploration but aren't the main focus.
