Space Invaders

Space Invaders is a fixed-screen shooter where you control a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, firing at descending rows of aliens. The aliens move horizontally across the screen, dropping lower with each pass while firing back at you. Your goal is to clear each wave before the formation reaches your position. You can duck behind destructible shields for cover, but they erode under enemy fire. As you eliminate aliens, the remaining ones speed up, increasing pressure. The game loops through progressively harder waves, with the sole objective being a high score. It's pure arcade reflex testing—no story, no upgrades, just you versus the swarm.
