Space Quest: The Sarien Encounter

Text-based adventure where you're a janitor who slept through a hostile takeover. Roger Wilco wakes in a broom closet to find his research vessel hijacked, crew dead, and a superweapon called the Star Generator stolen by Sarien forces. You escape in a pod, crash on a desert planet, and work your way offworld—bartering passage, infiltrating the enemy ship in disguise, and sabotaging the weapon before it's used. Puzzles involve finding items, talking to aliens, and creative problem-solving (air vents, laundry trunks, jetpacks). The tone's comedic sci-fi parody with plenty of ways to die if you miss a step. Parser-driven gameplay means typing commands to interact with the world.
