Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Arcade shooter where you pilot a Rebel snowspeeder defending Hoth's Echo Base from Imperial AT-AT walkers. You're stationed in a fixed position, firing at the advancing walkers and TIE bombers while managing your blaster's temperature to avoid overheating. Each wave increases the number of walkers and their speed. The game uses vector graphics to render the battlefield from a first-person cockpit view. Your goal: destroy enough walkers to delay the ground assault and buy time for the evacuation. Miss too many, and they breach the shield generator. It's a score-attack format—survive as long as possible, rack up points. Straightforward controls but demands quick target prioritization as the screen fills with threats.
