Stinger

Stinger is a vertical shoot-em-up where you pilot a cartoon aircraft through multi-directional stages packed with oddball enemies. Konami's arcade design throws horizontal and vertical scrolling sections at you, mixing up the typical top-down formula. You collect bell-shaped power-ups by shooting ground targets, then juggle them in the air to cycle through weapon types before grabbing what you need. Two-player co-op lets a second ship join in, useful for tackling screen-filling bosses that demand pattern recognition and quick reflexes.
