Streets of Rogue is a top-down roguelite where you complete missions across a procedurally generated city using whatever methods you choose. Each run drops you into urban floors populated by NPCs going about routines—shopkeepers, gang members, cops—all governed by AI that reacts to your actions. Missions might ask you to retrieve an item, eliminate a target, or rescue someone. You can shoot your way through, hack doors and turrets, bribe guards, possess enemies, or set traps depending on your chosen character. Classes range from soldiers and hackers to gorillas and shapeshifters, each with distinct abilities and starting gear. Environmental interaction matters: you can poison ventilation systems, knock out power, or start fires. The city's simulation means chaos spreads organically. Solid pick if you like emergent problem-solving over prescribed solutions.
