Super Turrican is a run-and-gun platformer where you play as a genetically engineered soldier sent to reclaim five abandoned colony worlds. Each habitat was managed by MORGUL, an ecosystem control network that went rogue after a quake and turned the local life forms hostile. You navigate multi-level environments, shooting mutated creatures and dodging environmental hazards across varied biomes. The game features power-ups that enhance your weaponry, including spread shots and a grappling beam for reaching distant platforms. Levels mix linear combat sections with exploration, rewarding players who search for hidden routes. Your objective: clear out the corrupted organisms and dismantle MORGUL's three core systems. Expect precise jumping, aggressive enemy patterns, and boss encounters at the end of each world.
