Tainted Grail: Conquest
Deck-building roguelike set on a cursed version of Avalon. You build a combat deck from scratch each run, choosing cards that match how you want to fight—poison stacks, direct damage, defensive combos. The island's layout changes between attempts, so routes and enemy placements shift. Combat is turn-based and card-driven: draw from your deck, play what you can afford, manage resources. Between fights you meet NPCs with their own agendas, uncovering why Avalon fell into darkness. Runs end in permadeath, but you unlock new starting classes and cards for future attempts. The loop is standard roguelike deckbuilder stuff—die, learn, refine your build, push deeper. If you liked Slay the Spire's structure but want grimmer fantasy flavor, this delivers that.
