Tattletail

Tattletail is a first-person horror game set across five nights before Christmas 1998. You've unwrapped your Tattletail—a needy electronic pet—early, and now he won't shut up or stay put. Your job: keep him fed, quiet, and hidden from your mom while sneaking around a dark house. The catch is Mama Tattletail, a larger version of the toy that's been stalking the halls since her recall. She's hunting for her baby, and if she hears him making noise, she'll come for you. Mechanics revolve around managing Tattletail's needs (he whines when ignored), using a flashlight with limited battery, and avoiding Mama's patrol routes. Short runtime—about an hour—but tense throughout. Works if you want bite-sized scares with a nostalgic creepy-toy angle.
