Infliction

Infliction is a first-person horror game set in an ordinary suburban house where you piece together 13 years of family history while something hostile hunts you. You explore the home across different time periods, finding clues in everyday objects and rooms that reveal what happened to the people who lived there. The narrative deals with difficult personal subjects through what you discover in the environment rather than explicit storytelling. As you investigate, an entity stalks you through the halls. Your goal: learn enough about the family's past to confront whatever now occupies their home, or fail and join it. The domestic setting—familiar spaces turned threatening—anchors the scares in recognizable dread rather than fantasy.
