The friends of Ringo Ishikawa
Beat-'em-up RPG following gang leader Ringo Ishikawa through his last high school semester. You control Ringo's daily routine in an open-world Japanese town—attend classes, train stats at the gym, pick street fights, or hang out with your crew. Combat uses simple brawler mechanics: punches, kicks, and weapons you find lying around. The game runs on a real-time clock. Skip too many classes and you might not graduate. Spend evenings at the arcade or reading books that permanently boost stats. Conversations with friends happen organically as you wander, and your choices affect relationships without obvious morality meters. No quest markers or tutorials guide you. The structure mimics actual teenage aimlessness—some days matter, others you waste. Suits players who want a low-stakes slice-of-life game punctuated by fistfights, not those expecting constant objectives.
