The Wild Eight is a survival game set in Alaska's frozen wilderness after a mysterious plane crash strands eight people. You can play solo or team up with others online to scavenge, craft shelters, and fend off threats like mutated wolves. Temperature drops at night force you to build fires and find warmth. Injuries need treatment or they'll slow you down. The map holds abandoned structures and strange anomalies that hint at why you crashed here. Co-op adds tension since other survivors might help you—or turn on you for supplies. Skill progression covers crafting, combat, and resource management. Expect environmental hazards, hostile wildlife, and puzzle elements tied to the crash site's backstory.
