Missions send you through open-world zones to reclaim territory from hostile factions. Loot drops feed into layered progression—gear sets, weapon mods, skill trees—that let you spec into different combat roles. Co-op supports squads tackling story missions or endgame raids. PvP happens in designated Dark Zones where you can turn on other players for better loot. The game leans on cover-based gunplay with RPG stat scaling, so headshots matter less than your gear score. If you like chasing incremental upgrades and don't mind bullet-sponge enemies, the loop holds up.
