A role-playing game where the goal isn't defeating a villain—it's becoming a better person. Set in Britannia, a land unified under ethical principles, you work toward embodying eight virtues: Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Justice, Sacrifice, Honor, Spirituality, and Humility. Character creation starts with morally ambiguous questions that assign your class and starting location based on your answers. You're free to explore towns, dungeons, and wilderness by foot, horse, or ship, but every action affects your virtue levels. Donating blood raises Sacrifice; fleeing combat lowers Valor. Cheating a blind merchant tanks multiple virtues at once. Traditional RPG combat and dungeon crawling remain—turn-based battles on separate screens, experience points, spell reagents—but the game punishes typical behavior like looting indiscriminately or attacking fleeing enemies. Recruitable companions join your party from various towns. The endgame requires collecting specific items and maxing out all eight virtues to descend into the Stygian Abyss.
