Uridium
Side-scrolling shoot 'em up where you pilot a starship across fifteen levels, each named after a metal element (iron, copper, gold) until reaching the final Uridium stage. You fly horizontally over massive enemy dreadnoughts, dodging turrets and fighters while hunting specific targets to clear each level. The ship moves in both directions—fly left to right, then flip and strafe back—creating a back-and-forth combat rhythm distinct from linear shooters. Enemies respawn continuously, so you're balancing speed against survival. Each dreadnought has a landing pad you must touch down on after destroying key targets. The metal-themed progression gives structure to what's otherwise pure reflex combat. Originally designed for Commodore 64, it's an 8-bit era shooter built around tight maneuvering in confined space.
