Viva Piñata is a garden simulation where you cultivate land to attract wild paper-mache animals, then meet their needs so they'll settle permanently. Over 60 species exist, each with specific habitat requirements—plant the right flowers, place the right structures, maintain the right conditions. Once a species visits enough times and you fulfill its romance requirements, it'll stay and breed. You can customize your garden's layout, terrain, and vegetation, plus accessorize your piñatas with hats and other items. The goal is building a diverse, thriving ecosystem by understanding what each creature wants. It's part gardening puzzle, part collection game, with a colorful aesthetic that doesn't talk down to anyone.
