A life simulation focused on individual people rather than city-building. You create characters from scratch—choosing their appearance, personality traits, and aspirations—then manage their daily routines. Direct them to eat, sleep, use the bathroom, socialize, and maintain their homes by buying furniture and replacing worn items. Sims pursue careers across ten different tracks, each with ten promotion levels requiring specific skill development. Relationships form based on how you orchestrate their conversations and interactions with neighbors. Neglect has consequences: skip too many meals or bathroom breaks and your Sims suffer. Fires, floods, and burglaries can strike. Extreme negligence leads to death, potentially wiping out entire households. The game operates as a sandbox where mundane choices—what couch to buy, which friend to call, whether to practice cooking—compound into emergent stories about virtual people whose fates rest entirely in your hands.
