Zelda's Adventure

Zelda's Adventure is a top-down action-adventure game where you control Princess Zelda instead of Link. You explore Tolemac, a region of Hyrule, searching for seven celestial signs needed to defeat Gannon and rescue Link. The game uses a bird's-eye perspective similar to early 2D Zelda titles and includes dungeon exploration. It was developed for the Philips CD-i as part of a licensing agreement between Nintendo and Philips after a planned Super Nintendo CD-ROM add-on fell through. The production differs notably from other CD-i Zelda games. Nintendo doesn't consider it part of the official series, and it's been widely criticized since release.
