Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a life sim where you move to a village and get appointed mayor. You manage town development by funding public works projects—bridges, benches, streetlamps—and placing them wherever you want. Daily activities include fishing, bug catching, fossil hunting, and decorating your house with furniture you buy, craft, or receive from animal neighbors. The game runs on real-world time: shops close at night, seasons change, events happen on actual calendar dates. Villagers move in and out over time. You can visit other players' towns locally or online, and StreetPass lets you tour houses of players you pass in real life. It's a low-pressure routine builder with no fail states.
