Third-person action-RPG where you fight a dragon and its minions across an open fantasy world. You're accompanied by three AI partners called Pawns who learn combat behaviors from your playstyle—if you favor ranged attacks, they adapt; if you climb monsters, they follow suit. These companions can be shared with other players online, returning with loot and tactical advice about enemies they've encountered. You can also recruit Pawns trained by others when you need specific skills for a quest. Combat emphasizes grabbing onto large creatures and targeting weak points. Character classes range from sword-and-board fighters to spellcasters, each with distinct abilities. The world mixes medieval towns with wilderness areas housing griffins, cyclopes, and other oversized threats. Dark Arisen is the expanded edition with additional endgame content.
