Final Fantasy XIV Online

You create a character, pick a class (which you can change freely), and progress through a story-driven campaign while tackling dungeons, raids, and side activities. Combat uses a hotbar system with role-specific abilities—tanks hold aggro, healers manage HP, DPS deal damage. The game includes series staples like chocobos, airships, and recognizable monsters. Crafting and gathering exist as full job systems with their own progression. You can play solo through most story content or group up for instanced challenges. Regular expansions add new zones, classes, and storylines. It's tab-target combat with a global cooldown, so expect methodical rotations over twitch reflexes.
