FTL is a spaceship management roguelike where you command a vessel fleeing across a procedurally generated galaxy. Each jump brings random encounters—hostile ships, distress calls, space stations—that play out in pausable real-time combat. You're juggling power distribution between shields, weapons, and engines while managing a small crew who run between stations, fight fires, and repel boarders. A missile volley disables your shields? You can reroute power to engines and flee, charge up weapons for a counterattack, or send crew over to sabotage their ship directly. Death is permanent for both crew and your run. Every playthrough randomizes sectors, events, and available upgrades, so no two attempts unfold the same way. Tight resource management matters—scrap buys new systems, crew hires, or hull repairs. Fans of tactical decision-making under pressure will find plenty to chew on here.
