Rhythm game where you hit notes in time with rock and metal tracks using a plastic guitar controller. This sixth main series entry includes over 90 songs from bands like Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Slipknot, Queen, and KISS. Quest mode adds a fantasy story: you guide eight characters who transform into warriors, each with unique powers that affect gameplay during specific challenges. The campaign builds toward a final battle involving the Demigod of Rock. Outside Quest, Quickplay lets you access warrior abilities immediately. You can tackle guitar, bass, drums, or vocals across standard modes like Party Play. It's the series' biggest launch setlist to date, spanning metal anthems to classic rock staples from Dire Straits, The Cure, and The Rolling Stones.
