About

Hack, Slash, Loot is a turn-based dungeon crawler built around solo runs through procedurally generated floors. You pick one hero from a roster of character classes, each with distinct stats and starting gear, then descend into dungeons filled with monsters and loot. Combat plays out in turns—move one tile, enemies move, then you attack or use an item. Death is permanent; lose your hero and you start fresh with a new character. The game uses traditional roguelike systems: hunger meters, equipment degradation, and randomized encounters mean no two runs play identically. Dungeons grow harder the deeper you go, with tougher enemy types and boss encounters guarding exits. Success depends on managing resources, knowing when to fight or flee, and adapting your tactics to whatever gear you find. It's designed for players who enjoy methodical, high-stakes dungeon crawling where one bad decision ends the run.
