Hand of Fate 2 blends deck-building with action-RPG combat in a dark fantasy framed as a supernatural card game. You customize a deck of encounters—events, enemies, loot—then watch them unfold on a board overseen by the Dealer, your antagonist and narrator. Each card flip triggers something: third-person melee fights (dual daggers, two-handed hammers, combo attacks), choose-your-own-adventure scenarios, or dice-roll challenges. The 22 story missions range from assassin hunts to fortress defense. Companion characters join you in battle or tweak the board's rules mid-game. Between runs you unlock hundreds of new cards to slot into future decks, changing what you'll face. Combat's more involved than the first game—weapon types matter, combos build to special moves. If you like roguelike structure but want authored challenges instead of pure randomness, this delivers both.
