About

Kirby: Squeak Squad is a side-scrolling platformer where you chase down thieves who stole your strawberry shortcake. Unlike the previous DS Kirby game, this one ditches stylus controls for traditional button inputs. You'll run, jump, and inhale enemies to copy their abilities across multiple worlds. The DS's dual screens let you store copied abilities and items in a separate inventory, swapping powers mid-level as needed. When you catch up to the culprits—a gang of treasure-hunting rodents called the Squeaks—things get more complicated than a simple cake heist. Levels mix standard platforming with ability puzzles, and you can combine certain powers for new effects. If you want straightforward Kirby action without gimmick controls, this delivers exactly that.
