Mega Man 4

Side-scrolling action platformer where you play as Mega Man facing eight new Robot Masters created by Dr. Cossack. You run, jump, and shoot through side-scrolling stages, defeating each boss to claim their weapon. This entry introduces the charged Mega Buster—hold the fire button to release a more powerful shot. After clearing the eight stages in any order, you push toward Dr. Cossack's fortress for a final series of challenges. The weapon-copying system returns: beat a boss, gain their ability, use it against enemies weak to that type. Expect pattern memorization, precise jumps over pits and spikes, and figuring out which stolen weapon works best against each new threat.
