Metro: Last Light is a post-apocalyptic horror FPS set in Moscow's underground metro tunnels after nuclear war. You play as Artyom, navigating station-cities where factions fight over salvaged weapons. The core loop mixes stealth and shooting—you carry three weapons, but ammunition is so scarce that high-grade rounds double as currency. Fighting mutants and armed survivors, you'll often choose between loud firefights and sneaking past threats, with lethal or non-lethal takedowns available. The story follows Artyom hunting a mysterious prisoner who might hold the key to humanity's survival. Stealth is strongly encouraged since wasting bullets on human enemies leaves you vulnerable when mutants show up. Based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel Metro 2033, it continues the narrative from the first game's darker conclusion.
