You're a detective who can't sleep and knows nothing about the case she's investigating. Laura Silver's been sent to research Slavic folklore in Czechoslovakia, specifically tracking down information about the Vodnik—a creature she's never heard of. Her paranoia and exhaustion don't help. The game leans into her incompetence as a feature rather than hiding it, making her lack of expertise part of the challenge. Expect a mystery-adventure structure where you're piecing together mythology you don't understand while managing Laura's frayed mental state. The Czechoslovakian setting provides the backdrop for encounters with folklore entities and locals who may or may not take you seriously. It's short, deliberately awkward, and treats detective work as something you can absolutely fail at.
