Super Mario 64
3D platformer where you explore Princess Peach's castle and jump into paintings that lead to self-contained worlds. Your goal: collect 120 Power Stars scattered across 15 levels by completing obstacle courses, solving puzzles, and defeating over 30 enemy types. Mario's moveset includes running, triple-jumping, wall-kicking, swimming, punching, and backward somersaults—all controlled via analog stick. Some stars require specific power-up caps that let you fly, turn metal, or become invisible temporarily. Levels range from grassy fields to underwater zones to mountain peaks, each hiding multiple stars in different locations. You can tackle most objectives in any order, returning to previous worlds as you unlock new areas of the castle. Progress saves for up to four players. Good fit if you like exploration-focused platforming with minimal story interruptions.
