The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

Top-down action-adventure where you explore an overworld and clear eight dungeons, built on the same engine as Link's Awakening. The hook: time travel between past and present versions of the land of Labrynna. Puzzles lean harder here than in its sibling game, Oracle of Seasons—expect more brain than reflex. A sorceress has captured the Oracle of Ages and you'll flip between eras to undo her work. If you finish this and Oracle of Seasons, they link together for a combined story with a different ending. Each game stands alone, but the password system ties them into one longer campaign. Designed for players who'd rather think through a room than fight through it.
