TimeSplitters

TimeSplitters is a first-person shooter built around split-screen mayhem. The arcade mode supports up to four players plus ten AI bots across six match types—deathmatch, team variants, and objective modes with customizable rules for weapons, win conditions, and character rosters. A level editor lets you assemble maps from pre-made tile sets, tweak lighting per section, and drop in items. The solo campaign spans nine missions from 1935 to 2035. You pick one of two characters per level, fight through enemies to grab an objective item, then haul it to an exit portal while mutant TimeSplitters spawn endlessly and chase you down. It's bare-bones story, maximum carnage—ideal if you want couch competition without fuss.
