Touhou Koumakyou: The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil

A vertical scrolling shooter where you pick one of two characters—each with distinct shot patterns and bomb types—to investigate a scarlet mist blanketing the land. Reimu spreads weaker shots across a wide area; Marisa trades coverage for focused power and speed. Your bomb's effect changes based on character and loadout. At full power, grazing the top edge auto-collects items scattered below. A counter-bomb mechanic lets you trigger a bomb right as you'd take damage, turning near-deaths into escapes if you've got stock. Six stages total, though Easy mode cuts you off after the fifth. The mist trail leads to a mansion housing whoever's responsible for blocking out the sun.
