Worms Forts: Under Siege is a turn-based strategy game where teams of worms build fortifications and bombard each other until one side's stronghold crumbles or their entire squad is eliminated. You construct defensive structures, position artillery, and launch attacks using the series' trademark absurd weaponry. Each turn involves choosing whether to reinforce your fort, produce offensive units, or directly assault enemy positions. The fort-building layer adds a construction phase before the familiar Worms combat, letting you design walls, towers, and weapon emplacements. Victory comes through either total annihilation of the opposing worms or reducing their central stronghold to rubble. The mix of base-building and explosive tactical combat shifts the formula toward longer, more strategic matches than earlier entries in the franchise.
