Alien: Isolation
Survival horror where you play Amanda Ripley searching for her missing mother aboard a decaying space station. The alien stalks you through corridors and vents, learning from your behavior—hide in a locker twice and it'll check them next time. You can't kill it. Instead, you scavenge parts to craft noisemakers, EMP mines, and flamethrower fuel to create brief windows of escape. The station's desperate survivors and malfunctioning androids add layers of threat. Beyond the campaign, Survivor mode drops you into standalone maps with objectives and leaderboards, the alien hunting more aggressively. Success depends on reading motion tracker blips, managing limited resources, and accepting that sometimes the smartest move is crouching in a cabinet for two minutes while something inhuman searches for you.
