Black Jacket is a roguelike deckbuilder built around blackjack mechanics. You're stuck in hell, and the only exit is winning card games against its residents. Each run has you playing hands of blackjack with twists—card combos that break standard rules, cheating mechanics you can deploy mid-hand, and opponents with their own tricks. Winning earns you Soul coins, the currency you'll use to bribe the ferryman for passage out. Between matches, you'll piece together backstories of the souls you're playing against. The deckbuilding layer lets you customize which cards enter your deck, shaping whether you play honest or stack things in your favor. Runs are short, losses reset progress, but persistent unlocks carry forward. If you like card battlers with gambling risk and don't mind restarting often, this leans into both.
