Broken Lines is a squad-based tactical game where you issue commands during pause, then watch them execute in real-time. Your eight soldiers—survivors of a plane crash in hostile territory—have no officers, no mission intel, and conflicting ideas about what to do next. You'll position units behind cover, set up flanking maneuvers, and manage limited resources between procedurally generated missions. If a plan goes sideways, you can rewind the level to try different tactics. The campaign branches based on whether you chase the original objective or prioritize escape, with veterans and rookies pushing opposing agendas. Soldiers develop combat skills and perks as you progress. Stress and moral dilemmas escalate as the squad fractures over who leads and what lines shouldn't be crossed. It's for players who want tactical depth without twitch reflexes.
