Devil World

Devil World is a maze game where you guide Tamagon, a dragon, through scrolling labyrinths controlled by a devil who shifts the screen's borders. You collect dots and power-up crosses that let you breathe fire and eat enemy Cyclops. The maze scrolls in four directions based on the devil's pointing, forcing constant repositioning to avoid getting crushed at the edges. Bonus stages involve grabbing ice cream while dodging threats. It borrows Pac-Man's dot-collecting structure but adds the scrolling gimmick and religious imagery—crosses, devils, bibles—that kept it out of North America until 2023.
