Excitebike

Excitebike is a side-scrolling motocross racer where you guide a dirt bike across obstacle-laden tracks, managing speed and heat. You'll hit ramps, dodge mud pits, and jostle other riders while keeping your engine from overheating. Races unfold on five pre-built courses, but there's also a track editor for designing custom layouts with jumps and hazards placed wherever you want. Timing turbo boosts matters—lean forward for acceleration, lean back mid-air to stick landings. The game alternates between solo time trials and races against computer opponents. Crashing costs seconds, overheating forces cooldown stops. It's straightforward arcade racing with a DIY element that lets you tinker between runs.
