Guitar Hero: On Tour
A rhythm game where you match colored notes scrolling down the screen by pressing buttons on a physical Guitar Grip accessory that slots into the DS's GBA port. You strum the touch screen with a stylus to hit notes in time with 25+ licensed rock tracks. Performance fills a crowd meter—nail streaks and you'll hear cheers, miss too many and the audience boos. Local wireless lets two players compete on separate systems, even if they own different entries in the series. The Guitar Grip uses four fret buttons instead of the console version's five, adapted for one-handed play while your other hand handles the stylus. Three difficulty tiers adjust note density. Short sessions work since most songs clock in under four minutes, though your strumming hand may cramp during longer sets.
